Great morning session training. Playing a game called 'Hubud' where we can add basically anything.

This afternoon I'm off to the Muai Thai Grand Prix fights st Curtin Stadium.

Great training today, running over defence against batons, covering simple weaving disarms.

Great training sesh today. Starting off, I was the student, learning some Mantis Style Kung Fu.. we then moved into incorporating knife into the same drill with some Filipino Martial Arts flair.. finished with some knife defence at about 70% pace for a nice hit of reality.

Finished off the evening with an intense Muai Thai class. I was worked to the core, just what I needed.

I may be a teacher in my own style, but I still study and train elsewhere with some amazing coaches.

Another great training session today, working on disarming your opponents weapon. Baton, knife or a piece of 2x4 timber.. it's about principles, concepts and ideas.. or just having fun :)

Great morning session today!

Early session with a like-minded Martial artist with a decent background in Mantis Style Kung Fu. A good exchange of knowledge both ways as we can spot more similarities than differences, as we discuss and train over a good cup of tea and breakfast.

A drill is a drill, to learn a skill.

Was great to kick-start the day with some training! Has been a while since I last taught due to work commitments, but with encouragement from students.. we're back into action 😎

Back to basics, with some fine tuning.. students had some real lighbulb moments followed by gasping jaws.. and some sore ones..

Can't wait for next Saturday ;)

A great class today covering Knife work and some light knife sparing just to show students how a knife fight/confrontation should always be won by atleast a 200m sprint down the street.
