🔥 ROUND 9 RESULTS 🔥
A tough day at the office for the Hawks, with Round 9 delivering plenty of highs and lows across the club.
🏉 Women
The highlight of the weekend belonged to our women, who knocked off ladder leaders Whitford! 💪🔥
The girls controlled the game from start to finish, took their opportunities when they came, and handed the previously undefeated Whitford side their first loss of the season. A fantastic team performance that keeps their finals aspirations well and truly alive. Congratulations ladies! 💙💛
🏉 Colts
A real arm wrestle for the Colts this week. Going in a little undermanned, we knew it would be a tough challenge. The boys battled hard but fell 16 points short. We know they’ll bounce back strongly this week against Manning.
🏉 Reserves
Another close contest for the Reserves, but unfortunately this one didn’t fall our way. Missed opportunities in front of goal and some late-game moments proved costly. Plenty to build on as the boys head into an important block of games.
🏉 League
A disappointing result for the League side, who struggled to match a strong Piara Waters outfit. There’s plenty to work on, but the group will be determined to respond and get back on the winners list.
🏉 Thirds
Another challenging game for our Thirds, who continue to show up every week and give their all. The effort and commitment from this group throughout the season has been outstanding and is something the club is incredibly proud of.
Not the results we were chasing overall, but we’ll regroup and go again this week at home, while our women enjoy a well-earned bye! 🔥
