Blitz Tennis next champ is 8yr old Lara.
Won her schools cross country championship.
She has never lost a race. Coach says that's his line, not he's to use.
Lara says herself is true though! LOL.

Meet our ‘Energiser Bunnies’!

Bjarne (8) and sister Tomi (6) competed in the North Qld Orange Ball at Ayr on Saturday. Both performed admirably with Bjarne (pictured) winning the event.

Bjarne then competed in the Green Ball JDS in Mareeba on Sunday. Lots will be heard from this brother and sister combination in the future.

We have a fun saying at Blitz Tennis that if you do something silly in a match, i.e, on a vital point you double fault or hit down the line when you should have gone cross court, then the saying is that you don't have to have a long neck to be a goose!
Of course that applies to the coach too!
Vaneesa has found this at the AO and obviously is applying it to yours truly! LOL.

Vanessa is off again.. this time to a 6 day camp at the Aussie Open to prepare a few selected 12yr olds (2026) for Aussie touring teams, later this year.
Will we miss her over the period.. Damn right... but we have more in training to emulate her efforts.
One in particular is tracking the exact same way!

🎾 Vanessa finished as Queensland and Australia’s No. 1 player for her birth year, holding a UTR of 6.79.

🎾Vanessa represented Queensland in the 11U State Team at the Australian Team Championships and, remained undefeated.

💥 Vanessa is praised for her mental toughness, humility and drive, marking her as one of Queensland’s most promising young talents.
