Goondiwindi, you turned up, brought the atmosphere and made the 2026 Vern Kleinschmidt Community Trust Goondiwindi Cup one to remember! 🔥 With Gunsynd Park presented beautifully, the track rated a Good 3 and six competitive races on the card, country racing was well and truly alive in Gundy.

The day belonged to SURREAL ASCOT, who stormed home to claim the Vern Kleinschmidt Community Trust Goondiwindi Cup for trainer Rochelle Pereira, brilliantly ridden by Jess Emmerson! 🏆 Jess enjoyed a massive day at Gunsynd Park, also partnering Savage Justice to victory in the opening race for trainer Pat Webster. That’s a Cup Day double! 👏

You don’t need to be a racing expert. If you enjoy a day at the races, love being part of the community or have ideas to help Gunsynd Park continue to grow, we want to hear from you. 🙌
