What a weekend at the !
Our weekend took a turn early when the gearbox failed on the second lap of the first section on Saturday, but we were proud to get the truck back up and running and complete all of today’s laps. Huge effort from the whole crew to swap gearboxes last night so we could get back out there today - we couldn’t have done it without you.
Massive congratulations to little bro Jamie Knight and Pat Buggie at Knight Racing on an incredible result - 1st in class and 1st outright for the weekend! Such a huge achievement and we’re all so proud of you guys.
A big thank you to our team and family for all of the support in the weeks leading up to the race and throughout the weekend - from helping in the pits, keeping things moving to getting us back on track to be racing today. We really appreciate it
Joe Brown, Mary-Anne Brown, Mick and Vicki Kyte, Charly Knight, Dallas Reading, Luke Hendry, Todd Hill , Phil and Lisa Lunatech Racing Transmissions & Engines and many more - legend effort from everyone and too our Aussie 7 supporters.
And a massive thanks goes out to the GUNDY 500 committee for putting together a fantastic event, the landowners for making the race possible, and all the racers and spectators who came along to support the very first Gundy 250.
We’ll be back, stay tuned for our next race👍🏼
