Calinda Drivin Miss Dainty does it again. How she is still a maiden I don’t know… but we sure are lucky have her! 👏

Round 1 of the Willinga at Juandah Plains Maiden saw a clear leader in Matt Moffat. He's had quite the day qualifying 5 for Rd2 of the Open and 3 for the final of the Maiden.

Congratulations to Cameron & Kellie Bond, a 1, 2 sees them collect $4,600 of the $12,000 Rd1 Prize pool. We tried to add the break down to the graphic, but it was too hard!

Great to see MACKELMORE CHEX & Bryony Puddicombe in =3rd position, this same combination head to the 2nd Round of the Open, as does CALINDA DRIVIN MIZ DAINTY (by Hydrive Cat) & Sam Campbell.

Scores of 88 and above will see 40 go head to head in Saturday's final. Good luck to all.

Earlier this year, the two 2yr old geldings by SDP Scott David averaged $25,000 at the 2026 Nutrien Classic Sale - at only 2yrs old! They respectfully sold for $22,500 and $30,000.

There is a great opportunity here for someone to capitalise on our shortage of feed! These are all out of well performed, well bred and well regarded mares.

He back up the next year and won the Stallions Campdraft on a three way run off.
