Preliminary Finals Results 🏑

Warm sunny conditions made for a tough day of hockey, but our Gank U17s bounced back in style to secure their spot in this year’s Grand Final! 🙌
What an achievement for these kids, who have put in so much effort throughout the last few years. We’re so proud of what they’ve achieved and can’t wait to see them take on the Grand Final! ❤️🤍🖤💛

Unfortunately, our Men’s team went down by one goal, bringing their season to an end. A huge congratulations to the boys on a great season and for giving it everything right to the final whistle. 👏

What a day of hockey at Yankalilla!
Our U14s fought hard but unfortunately went down, bringing their season to an end. What a fantastic effort from the team this year, and they should be incredibly proud of how far they’ve come over the last few years! ❤️🤍🖤

Our U17s & Men went down in hard-fought games, but their season isn’t over yet! They’ve both got another chance to fight their way into the Grand Final. 💪

And our Ladies… THEY DID IT! 🙌
Another fantastic win sees them through to this years Grand Final!

Semi Finals are here! 🏑🔥
What a season it’s been! All 4 of our teams have made finals! 🙌❤️🤍🖤

Our U14s have done an incredible job to make it this far, especially after battling low numbers throughout the season. Their commitment and determination to keep turning up and improving has been fantastic to see. This weekend is a knockout game, and we’ll be right behind them as they fight to keep their season alive! 💪

Our U17s, Men’s and Women’s sides have also earned their place in the finals and will be playing for a direct spot in the Grand Final. 🏆

It’s going to be a huge weekend of hockey! Get down to the sidelines, support our teams and help us cheer them on as they chase finals glory! 🙌

The minor rounds are finished! 🏑🔥
What a way to finish the season!

Our combined Goolwa & Yankalilla Gorillas have finished top of the U17s ladder after their second year as a combined team, a fantastic achievement! 👏

While our U14s have also made it through to finals after finishing 4th. This is a great reflection of their commitment throughout the season, continuing to turn up, put in the work and keep improving despite low numbers throughout the year. 💪

Our Ladies wrapped up the year with a convincing win, finishing 1st on the ladder and remaining undefeated! 👏

And finally, our Men had a hard-fought game to finish the minor rounds, securing 2nd place in the B Grade competition. 🙌

This weekend is set to be a thriller for our whole club!
Come down to Yankalilla on Saturday to show your support and get behind every team as they chase a spot in the Grand Final! 🏆

This weekend, we’re heading to Victor Harbor for the final hit-out before finals. Get down, cheer loud and show your support for our Senior teams as they finish the minor round! ❤️🤍🖤

Regional Championships are calling! 🏑

It's time to start preparing for the SA Regional Junior Hockey Championships, taking place in Kadina from 3rd–5th October.

Our first training session is:
Sunday 23rd August 2pm at the Victor Harbor Hockey Club.
