I have been a huge fan of HPI RC cars for 20 plus years. I still have fast trucks that have wheelied crashed and thrashed since 2006.

Of course HPI have had "drift cars" for years.. But nothing like the new one.
This looks like they have taken all the best design ideas from today's most popular mainstream chassis and made it Ready To Run and accessible to All.
And second to that the RTR Mustang bodies look absolutely incredible.

I'm excited to see one and try one.

How amazing are good freinds.

So over the moon happy with these two beautifully painted body shells by Boosted Drift.

Jays attention to detail is just amazing. I just throw paint at them and hope it sticks. Jay is so meticulous with the masking it shows.

The Shibata Carbon R 32 GTR us absolutely stunning. Just love it. But have not jet managed to capture the colour on camera well. Deep Candy red just doesn't show well.

I've been running the orange Hachi since 2017, it was painted in 2016 by Scotty. Super cool to have the fresh white trueno coupe to run on the LPRMX86. Man I love this 3 door. Notch back shape.

Had a three Hour session at the The Goat Track Rc Drift Gold Coast YAGI drift this evening with RE-Xtreme RC Rus.

Was a quiet track but made for a heap of awesome fun-Ness. Rus and I running crazy lines and follow the leader hours just like old times.

Was the Track Debut for my new Shibata CarbonR R32 GTR on my GRK in stunning candy red painted for me by Boosted RC Drift . Absolutely over the moon with it. Jay knocked it out the park. Couldn't be happier.
Lights are in but not wired. Needs a Bit more low and I'm stoked!!!!

How times have changed

Ten years ago today we opened our own drift track.
Very sad to say we only lasted two years just not enough players back then.

Now..today. Jay and I will be attending the Yagi Drift track tonight at The Goat Track Rc Drift Gold Coast just 2 mins down the road from where our track was.

Well that as a solid 3 hours on track at Yagi.
Thank you to The Goat Track Rc Drift Gold Coast for all the hard work in getting the new Yagi Circuit up and running.
I definitely recommend the track for a good session of banging doors.
Looking forward to a session with mates all running together.
Some Mild tuning needed for my cars to suit the LF4s on the narrower street style layout.

The RSG REW as always was brilliant. A little too grippy but very forgiving.

The RDX was excellent. But seems to be something wrong with the 13.5t Hobbywing motor. Have only run it the last few times I used it and it seems to chew thru batteries in comparison to the prior motor and other cars.

The RER needs the most work. The relatively limited steering lock was Making it hard to save spins with out turning the gyro up... But then it wobbles. Il get it sorted next time.

First hour on the new surface at Yagi RC drift The Goat Track Rc Drift Gold Coast and so far really good.
Excellent street style circuit. Quite technical but also great line for chasing doors!!!
