What a way to finish Pacific Airshow Gold Coast! ✈️

The boys absolutely loved getting back into the sky and putting on one last show for an incredible crowd. The energy, the support and the atmosphere were something very special!

After months of preparation, plenty of hard work behind the scenes, it was pretty special to end the weekend on such a high note!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, cheered us on, took photos, tagged us, shared our posts and supported the team. You’ve made this weekend one to remember! ❤️

Completing our formation is a pilot who brings more than 24 years of flying experience to the Screaming Diamonds.

Meet Michael Jones, flying the Pitts S-1T in Position #3. 👨‍✈️🔥

Based at Moama Aerodrome, Michael is an experienced aerobatic display pilot and formation aerobatics specialistwith more than a decade of airshow and aviation event experience.

✈️ 24+ years of flying experience�
🔥 10+ years performing at airshows�
🌏 Display experience across Australia and China�
🏅 Ground Level Aerobatic Display Endorsement holder�
👨‍✈️ RAAus Flight Instructor�
💨 Passionate advocate for safe, precise formation aerobatics

Michael has performed at major events including the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast, bringing his experience, precision and passion for formation flying to audiences both in Australia and overseas.

Away from aviation, Michael is also the owner and Director of Phoenix Hay Pty Ltd, exporting premium Australian hay throughout Asia, as well as being a proud husband and father.

The secret is finally out… 👀

Meet the newest member of the Screaming Diamonds — Lyndon Trethewey! 🔥

Lyndon joins the team flying the Pitts S-1D in Position #2, bringing an impressive combination of flying, aerobatic and engineering experience.

✈️ Pilot licence since 2011�
💨 Flying aerobatics since 2013�
🔧 LAME since 2005, specialising in high-performance custom aircraft�
🌏 Airshow experience across Australia and China�
🔥 Experience in both formation aerobatics and solo performances

With years of experience both in the cockpit and in the workshop, Lyndon brings an incredible depth of knowledge and a passion for high-performance aircraft to the Diamonds.

We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team and can’t wait for you to see Position #2 in action.
