What an incredible weekend at the Soke Cup 2026!

It was inspiring to see generations come together, united by the same passion, dedication and commitment.

Events like this are made possible by so many people. The competitors who step onto the floor and challenge themselves, the senseis and coaches who guide and support them, and the many people working quietly behind the scenes to bring everything together.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and a special thank you to everyone who travelled from around the world to be here in Australia.

We hope you enjoyed the event, made some great memories and enjoyed your time with the Chito-Ryu family.

Please note - For those attending the grading at the Gold Coast dojo the start time for the grading has been changed to 9:30.

Competition commences tomorrow (Friday).

Thank you to everyone for being part of the 2026 Soke Cup.

Competitors - Please ensure that you are in the Marshaling Area by 8:30. You should have your dogi pants on and your team jacket, shirt. If you don't have a jacket or shirt then you should dressed in your full dogi.

A huge thank you to Martin Phillips Sensei and Mark Snow Sensei for all the work they have done getting this together. Juggling referees and making sure their are no event conflicts is not an easy task.

NOTE - All competitors must be in the Marshalling Area by 8:30 Friday morning to get ready for the opening ceremony.
