There is a fine line between being patient and hiding behind patience.
We tell ourselves…
“I’m still thinking about it.”
“I’m waiting for the right time.”
“I just need a little more certainty.”
“I’ll start when things settle down.”
But sometimes those aren’t reasons.
They’re fear dressed up as logic.
The truth is, very few meaningful decisions come with absolute certainty. Growth usually requires us to move before we feel completely ready.
At some point, another podcast won’t help.
Another book won’t help.
Another conversation won’t help.
Another month of thinking won’t help.
Because eventually knowledge has to become action.
You probably already know the conversation you need to have.
The habit you need to change.
The opportunity you need to explore.
The decision you need to make.
The first step you need to take.
The question isn’t always “What should I do?”
Sometimes the better question is:
“What am I afraid of that is stopping me from doing what I already know I should do?”
Your life rarely changes because you finally knew enough.
It changes because one day you decided to act on what you already knew.
Take the step.
