CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: MEET WILL 👋

Will has been an amazing client of ours, putting in the work through both shoulder and knee rehab. 💪

One of his big rehab goals was to get back to bench pressing 100kg for 5 reps.

Today was a check-in day to see where his strength is at and while there’s still some work to do around functional stability, control and capacity, the progress is there.

100kg × 5 we’re coming for it. 🔜🏋️‍♂️

Rehab isn’t just about getting out of pain. It’s about getting you back to the things you want to do, and doing them well.

Leg day starts before the first working set 🦵

A good warm-up isn’t about tiring yourself out, it’s about getting the joints moving, muscles switched on, and your body ready to handle load.

Move. Prime. Load. Then get after it. 💪

POV: Your patient cancels, so you think you’ve got a break… but the co-owner hears “free physio appointment”😂

A quick glimpse of what we have at our clinic ✨

It was great to have one of our sponsored athletes, sprinter Tamra Johnston from Kurrawa Surf Club club in our Hydrotreadmill session with our senior physiotherapist Tom Hissey

We had lots of fun discussing sport performance, biomechanics and rehab. And as you can tell, we were impressed because her sprint mechanics look like they were engineered in à lab. 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

Back pain? Sometimes the best place to start is simply moving. 💪

Here are 3 simple exercises that can help get your back moving, build strength and improve confidence with everyday movement.

The goal isn’t to find the “perfect” exercise, it’s to find movement that feels good and gradually build from there.

✅ Move regularly
✅ Build strength
✅ Stay consistent

Your back is strong, adaptable and made to move.

Exercises should be tailored to the individual. If your pain is persistent, worsening or you’re unsure where to start, speak with a physiotherapist.
