Happy 20th Birthday Pilates Plus
20 years ago today I bought this amazing little studio. I can’t believe how time has flown by. Thank you to everyone who has passed through the front doors over the years and to those who still do. Every day, week, year we learn more and more about how exercise can help the mind and body. A new lease has just been signed so here is to a few more years of Living Better Longer.

Mastering Menopause with Pilates. I spent the day up in Brisbane with Louise Taube and a few ladies discussing all things peri menopause, menopause and how Pilates can help. A day full of information and exercise. Education is the key and I’m hoping to help women through this important stage of their lives.

We are getting closer to getting a rebate from private health funds. It’s taken a long time and still a little longer to go but it’s a big step forward

We are another step closer to getting health fund rebates back!

We are thrilled to announce that Pilates has received endorsement by Mark Butler, Minister for Health and Aged Care, for re-inclusion in health fund rebates.

We were not expecting this endorsement whilst the government is in caretaker mode, but he states that this decision was made prior to “caretaker conventions”.

Our work will now be focused on lobbying the private health funds to add Pilates to their offerings.
