Huge thanks to everyone who came to the charity golf day to support my family and I in my battle against MND.

The harsh reality of Motor Neuron Disease is that it often begins with a leg or an arm (for me it was my left thumb) and then starts to work its way up or down your whole body until you loose control of your muscles and can no longer support yourself.

By the end of its workings your soul, perfectly awake, is imprisoned inside a limp husk like a living soul frozen inside their own flesh.

This can take no longer than 3 years from the day one is diagnosed with the disease, this is why MND has been labeled by many as the 1000 day disease😔

The Surfing benefits of the Cobra Stretch are as follows:

Opens the shoulder blades, neck, and collar bones leaving you with a far better paddle game and posture in the water.

The Cobra Increases overall flexibility throughout your lower back region which means greater manoeuvrability throughout your top and bottom turns.

The Cobra also opens the lungs and inner core so if you get a good beat down on a day where the swells more solid the longevity of your breath holds should be far greater especially if you regulate your breathing whilst you are stretching👌🏼
