A huge thank you to everyone who jumped online and secured their spot. It's shaping up to be another fantastic day of sideways fun, flying dirt, and questionable driving lines. 😆

To our competitors: Please ensure volunteer forms are completed. As well as making sure your cars are ready, your helmets are packed, and your excuses are prepared for when you're beaten by a stock Corolla. 😉

🏁 CLUB MEETING DATE CHANGE! 🏁

In a rare display of unity between motorsport enthusiasts and footy fanatics, we've decided not to compete with the biggest rivalry of the year!

Due to State of Origin Game 2 being played on Wednesday 17 June, the Gold Coast Tweed Motorsport Club meeting has been moved to Thursday 18 June.

We know there are a few loyal Blues supporters in the club (don't worry, we won't hold it against you), and we'd hate for our Queensland members to miss watching NSW get taught a lesson. 😉💙❤️

📅 New Meeting Date: Thursday 18 June
📍 Same place, same time, same motorsport banter.

Enjoy the Origin action, fly your colours proudly, and we'll see everyone on Thursday night—hopefully with Queensland still smiling!

We’re missing all three of the GCTMC table cloths; hoping one of our amazing volunteers took them home to wash after Round 2 of the khanacross series and forgot to bring them back or kept them for a club themed picnic… 🏁🧺

From GCTMC khanacross to podiums on the race track — what a journey for one of our own juniors, Billy Parrish! 👏🏁

At just 14 years old, Billy’s “next step” was to move from khanacross into bitumen racing annd he has already delivered some incredible results.
Competing in the Series X3 Queensland championship, Billy consistently finished in the Top 10 across his first 2 race weekends before stepping onto the podium in Round 3 — finishing 3rd overall for this weekend, including a race WIN! 🔥

Billy has also started competing in the PMP Series, where he again finished inside the Top 10 in his debut round.
What makes this even better is that Billy hasn’t forgotten where he started. You’ll soon see this superstar back at upcoming GCTMC khanacross events, helping mentor and support other junior competitors.
Keep an eye out too, as Billy will also be proudly promoting GCTMC at some of his upcoming race events.

We couldn’t be prouder of what Billy is achieving 🏎💨!
