Running has a funny way of becoming part of your life. It pushes you, humbles you, and somehow keeps you coming back for more. Even the hard days feel strangely rewarding once they’re over.
It’s not really an addiction — it’s the structure that makes sense. The routine, the effort, the rhythm of moving forward gives your mind something solid to hold onto. There’s comfort in the challenge.
And yes, it hurts sometimes. The miles get heavy, the weather gets annoying, and your legs complain more than they should. But the feeling afterward always makes it worth it.
So no, it’s not an addiction. It’s just choosing a little bit of suffering that makes life feel better, clearer, and calmer than anything else ever could.🏃♂️😂
