Happy Birthday, Ella! 🥋🎂

I’d like to wish our Ella Senpai a very happy birthday! 🎉

Ella has been one of my longest-standing students, and it has been an absolute pleasure watching her grow and develop throughout her karate journey.

One of Ella’s greatest strengths is her keen eye for detail. She doesn’t simply learn techniques — she takes the time to understand them, refine them and, importantly, understand why we do things a certain way.

I had the pleasure of watching her teach Bassai Dai to our senior students last night, and I was genuinely impressed by the depth of her knowledge and understanding. Seeing her confidently pass that knowledge on to others is something that makes me very proud.

Ella, your dedication, loyalty, generosity and willingness to contribute to our karate family are truly valued. You are not only an excellent student, but also a wonderful instructor and mentor to those around you.

Happy Birthday, Ella Senpai! 🥋❤️

May your journey continue to be filled with growth, achievement and many more years of karate.

It is with a very heavy heart and deep sadness that I share the passing of Bob McMahon Sensei. 😥

Bob sensei was one of my strongest and longest-standing supporters when I took the courageous step of going out on my own so many years ago. He played an instrumental role in helping our small dojo get established, and I will always be deeply grateful for the encouragement, guidance and support he gave me during those early days.

His passing is a great loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire McMahon family during this incredibly difficult time.

May Bob McMahon Sensei rest in peace. His support and contribution to our journey will always be remembered with great respect and gratitude. 🙇🏻‍♂️🙏
