Gold Coast Sports Hub is pleased to be partnering with Gold Coast Recreation & Sport Inc. for October’s Active Inclusion Program Community of Practice.

This month’s in-person session will be held at Gold Coast Sports Hub, bringing together sports clubs, physical activity and recreation providers, Allied Health professionals and community advocates from across the Gold Coast.

Our General Manager will share more about the vision for Gold Coast Sports Hub, what’s already taking shape and what’s ahead for the facility.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to:

🏋️ Experience the latest inclusive Pulse Fitness equipment
🏢 Take a guided tour of our new Allied Health facilities
🤝 Connect with others working across sport, recreation and inclusion
💡 Hear practical ideas around creating more accessible and inclusive opportunities within the community
🍽️ Enjoy lunch and networking with industry colleagues

Big congratulations to Walking Football Gold Coast! ⚽👏

A huge shout-out to both the Over 50s and Over 60s teams who headed up to the Sunshine Coast Walking Football Festival.

It sounds like it was a fantastic day all round, with both teams representing Walking Football Gold Coast brilliantly.

And an extra special congratulations to the Over 50s team, who came away with the win, their first competition victory! 🏆

A great team effort and a fantastic result.

Well done to everyone who took part. You’ve done Walking Football Gold Coast proud!

If you miss the team spirit and social side of football, Walking Football is a great way to get back on the pitch, just without the running.

It’s friendly, social and a fun way to stay active while enjoying the game with others.
