Burleigh Dragons are proud to be part of the Bowls for Brisbane: The Long Roll

This incredible journey will see bowls travel from Sydney to Brisbane, connecting 32 clubs along the way. We can’t wait to play our part, showcase our club, and be involved in a national celebration of community, inclusion, and great bowls.

It’s incredible to see a rising star come through our sport, and to witness it up close at Burleigh makes us all incredibly proud.

Firstly, congratulations to Stevie, your achievements are outstanding, and it’s clear you’re ready to grab this game with both hands and take it all the way to the top.

Ali and Chris, congratulations to you both as well. The support and dedication you show Stevie play such a big part in his success, you should be very proud. 😀

🥈 STATE SILVER MEDAL 🥈

Huge congratulations to our Young Dragon Stevie on an outstanding achievement, claiming a Silver Medal in the U15 State Triples alongside teammates Kennedy and Ashton 👏

A fantastic effort from the boys and a great reward for all their hard work!

Stevie’s State Championship campaign isn’t over yet — he’s back in action today in the Pairs and then onto the Singles on Friday.

🐉 Men’s Championship Singles Final 🐉

After a highly anticipated couple of months, our Club Singles competition has come to an incredible finish. The support throughout has been nothing short of amazing, with crowds of 40-100 members turning up from the early rounds right through to the finals.

A huge shoutout to all our members for getting behind our bowlers and supporting the club the way you always do 👏

Last night’s final was a spectacular contest, with two mates going head-to-head for the crown 👑

🏆 Dale Mcwhinney Shillington defeated Matthew Sargeant in a thrilling finish, 25–22 🔥

🔥 Ladies Championship Singles Final 🔥

Saturday morning saw two Burleigh Dragons take to the greens to battle it out for the Championship Singles medallion 🥇

In a fantastic match, Megan Grantham defeated Merrill Holmes 25–18 to claim the title. 🏆

Congratulations to both players on a great game, and a big thank you to all our supporters for creating such a great atmosphere! 👏

What a fantastic morning at Burleigh Heads Bowls Club today hosting our friends from Yuen Long Bowls Club in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰 🇦🇺

It was a great friendly match and an amazing atmosphere, with both our members and the HK touring team having a wonderful time on the greens. 😁
