Magic Millions Racing Women was established in 2012 and now offers $750,000 in bonus prizemoney annually in the $3m The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic and $3m Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas feature races, shared by horses owned wholly by women. We are excited to officially launch dedicated Magic Millions Racing Women social media channels. A platform to showcase the immense contribution, talent, and success of women at every level within the thoroughbred industry and equestrian disciplines. Zara’s ongoing achievements, on and off the horse, as Patron of Magic Millions Racing Women will be in the spotlight as she campaigns towards Paris 2024.

Celebrating Women in Racing 🩷

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Nicole Slater: Rose Gold Exhibition, Friday night marked a special occasion as the Magic Millions Racing Women supported by TAB Achievement Awards celebrated the women shaping Australia’s thoroughbred industry.

Congratulations to our 2026 award recipients. Each of these incredible women represents excellence, leadership, and impact across all areas of the Thoroughbred industry.

The future is bright: Announcing the 2026 Magic Millions Racing Women Achievement Award finalists.

Magic Millions is proud to announce the finalists for the Racing Women Achievement Awards, supported by TAB. These awards celebrate the women who work tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines to ensure the success of the Australian thoroughbred industry.

LAST CHANCE to recognise the outstanding national success and achievements by women in the Australian thoroughbred industry by nominating them for the Magic Millions Racing Women supported by TAB Achievement Awards. 🏆

With five state based categories, each Award recognises exceptional industry contribution by a female participant to their resident state or territory over the last twelve months. Female participants from any sector of the thoroughbred industry, and at any stage of their career, are eligible to be nominated.

⏰Nominations MUST be received by midnight AEST today, Monday 1 December.

The MAGIC begins now ✨

The TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival is set to return from 7-19 January 2026, bringing two exciting weeks of Racing, thrilling Showjumping and Polo and the 40th edition of the world-renowned Yearling Sale. The 2026 program features the Magic Millions Gold Twilight Raceday, Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping, TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw, the flagship Gold Coast Yearling Sale, concluding with renowned TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday on Saturday, 17 January, with more than $13.25 million in prizemoney on offer.

Zara Tindall MBE once again leads the lineup, continuing her remarkable tenure as our longest-serving ambassador and a much-loved part of the Magic Millions family. Joining Zara is husband Mike Tindall, NRL legend Billy Slater and equine artist Nicole Slater, Argentinian polo power couple Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, and sports broadcaster Hamish McLachlan. Their shared passion for the Carnival and horses, brings incredible energy and star power to January on the Gold Coast.

The TAB partnership marks an exciting new chapter for the Magic Millions Carnival. The horse, ‘Zac’, is a 9 year old Off-The-Track thoroughbred, formerly known as Grand Zou. Zac is a Magic Millions graduate and is gearing up for the Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Final this January, with Emily Lang-McMahon in the saddle.

Five state-based national categories will be honoured at the Achievement Awards Dinner on Friday 9 January 2026 on the Gold Coast and evening which will be a celebration of the remarkable women driving progress across the Australian thoroughbred industry.
