We are excited to take our camps to the next level with the introduction of our Elite Full-day Development Camps.

Throughout the day, players will participate in a series of athletic performance tests using state-of-the-art equipment to accurately measure and record individual results. These scores will be added to each athlete’s personal profile, creating valuable benchmark data that can be referenced and tracked across future camps and testing sessions.

Coaches Rob Linton and Will Jones-McFee will lead the sessions together, guiding players through an at-home strength and conditioning program that athletes can complete daily. This program will target key performance areas identified during testing and help players improve upon the benchmarks established at previous camps and evaluation days.

Players will also complete an on-court individual workout consisting of a series of drills focused on core fundamental skills. Athletes will compete through each drill while recording measurable scores that will also be added to their player profiles. These baseline results will allow coaches to monitor player progression each term and identify areas of improvement, consistency, or decline.

In addition, player groups will rotate through a goal-setting workshop led by Coach Will. This session is designed to challenge players’ thinking, build accountability, and introduce the professional habits and mindset that often contribute to long-term success both on and off the court.

Each player will receive a personalised workbook containing the full camp schedule, testing results, drill breakdowns, and space to record notes and progress throughout the day. This workbook is intended to serve as an ongoing resource that players can take home and use to support their daily skill development and training.

All players that attend the High Performance Holiday Camps will be eligible for the AAU NSW Central Coast Challenger in October, 2026.

UNDER 12 COUNTRY SKILLS DAYS | REGISTER TODAY

Basketball NSW is inviting athletes born in 2015 and 2016 to register for our upcoming U12 Country Skills Days, with limited spots still available for next Saturday’s session at Guzman y Gomez Stadium in Terrigal.

The Skills Days are an important part of the Basketball NSW Performance Pathway and act as the official selection opportunity for the 2026 Under 12 Country John Davidson Jamborees.

Led by experienced coaches, these sessions provide young athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills, compete in a high-quality environment, and showcase their abilities alongside other aspiring players from across the state.

If your child is ready to challenge themselves and continue their basketball journey, now is the time to register.
