LESSON VACANCIES for the week beginning Monday 22nd June, 2026!

Lessons are held rain or shine.. as we have a roof on our fully fenced arena! And… when you book a private lesson, you are the ONLY Pupil and Horse on the arena, with your instructor, at that time. No crowding, no one running through your lesson… You have the whole arena to yourself! Heaven 😊 We also love the wonderful lights in our covered arena, that can see us teaching before dawn and way after sunset… and in all weather conditions! So nice to not have to cancel lessons due to the weather!

We have over 25 school horses and ponies: and can cater for riders from 3 years and up. We also have school horses that can cater for riders up to 90 kg. Our fully covered 20m by 60m arena has a lovely surface of river sand and Treadlite rubber. This surface is also regularly irrigated to eliminate any dust. We also have a large grass arena and a 17m sand round yard too.

We are open from 6 am to 7pm (winter hours) throughout the weekdays, and 6 am to 6pm on the weekends.Private 30 minute lessons throughout the week are $90, and $120 on weekends and public holidays. Please feel free to message me with any questions that you may have.

Check out our tiny tot pupils enjoying a Pony Pals Playtime session. We just love having these sessions for our younger pupils to practice what they learn in their weekly private lessons. Looking forward to the next one

Good to know that Hawkesbury Equine Veterinary Centre is on call ALL long weekend ❤️🐴

We would like to wish all our clients and their furry friends a happy safe long weekend. The office is open Saturday morning for urgent care cases and closed on the public holiday Monday 8th. We are available for emergencies the entire long weekend and can be reached by calling (02) 45774611 anytime day or night.

Tathren Dressage/Working Hunter/Rider in Action, Fun Day 2026 wrap up!

What a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to test what they have learnt in their lessons, here at Tathren Stud and Riding School!

Well done on rising to this challenge!
We had pupils from 3 years, right up to 63 years old, competing on the day!

Thank you to our merry band of volunteers that made this day possible; from our judge, pencillers, arena gate opener, test caller, scorer, test paper runner, school horse groom etc!

Many thanks to Heather from Feeding Frenze Cafe Style Catering for the lovely treats!

A special shout out to the very dedicated photographer; Lisa Wyatt who certainly has captured the precious moments of this day.

A massive thanks to my ever tolerant Tathren horses! I salute each and everyone of you!

There was a combination of Anglo Arabians, part Arabians, Arabian ponies, Palominos and a thoroughbred! The majority of horses that competed were mares, with only two geldings competing; Angelo by More Than Ready and Sofia’s cute pony, Beau. Their ages ranged from 8 up to 22 years of age. 

There were 4 horses by our palomino stallion; Gleniph Sovanity (Tathren Summer Nights, Hoof Hearted at Tathren, Acacia Park Dreamcatcher and Chiltern Vale Cinnabar )

Talk about get some good bloodlines and try to exhaust them 😉🤣

Thank you to the pupils that tried their best and showed me how they would react in a competition type environment! You made me a very proud instructor and breeder!

Looking forward to our next on-site competition 🐴❤️

Thank you to ENSW and EquaCare for a great event at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre today!
The vibe was warm and friendly, and the stewards were so accommodating and approachable.
Hats off to this hard working committee for pushing classes through before the rain set in!
Thank you to the judges that also gave up their time to officiate at this show today. 
Looking forward to the next ENSW event!
