π NORWEST BULLS ROUND 2026 WRAP-UP ππ
Another big weekend of rugby with plenty of grit, determination and Bulls spirit on display across all age groups.
πΉ Opens
A tough afternoon for our Opens, going down 54-26 to Merrylands. Congratulations to Captain Jude Aloisio, named Man of the Match for his leadership and effort.
πΉ U16/17 Girls
A hard-fought 17-all draw against Randwick. With no training during the week, the girls dug deep and showed incredible character, particularly with their efforts around half-breaks and defensive scramble. So difficult to single anyone out, so the coaching staff have awarded a full team effort and a well-deserved pizza night before the next game! ππ₯
πΉ U15
The Bulls didnβt get the chocolates this week, but both Mosman and Norwest played the game in true rugby spirit. Special mention to Jonathan, who was awarded Mosmanβs Player of the Match voucher by the opposition.
πΉ U13 Blue
A terrific 31-22 victory over Balmain/Petersham after going down 19-0 to the same side earlier in the season. Great to welcome Beau back to the Bulls and Jeremiah in his first-ever game of rugby union. Players of the Day were hardworking forwards Rocco and Brock.
πΉ U13 Red
A tough assignment against the competition-leading Raptors, going down 24-14. With only 13 fit players available, several U13 Blue players stepped up to help out. A huge thank you to Chayse, Johnny, Lincoln and Xavier. Awards went to Daniel and Brayden for their strong attack and defence. With injuries beginning to clear, the team is looking forward to a strong finish to the season.
πΉ U11 Blue
What a win! The Bulls travelled to Harbord and came away with a thrilling 21-20 victory despite missing six players. The match was won through relentless defensive effort, desperate cover tackles and composure under pressure. Harbord crossed late but missed the conversion, before the Bulls secured a turnover from the restart to seal the game. Awards went to:
π Players Player (Dominoβs) β Joel Luke
π Coaches Player β Reuben
π Bulls Values (Mad Mex) β Meatuai
πΉ U10 Blue Norhawks
A tough day against a strong KWP Gold side, going down 80-12. With no reserves and a couple of injuries during the match, the team never stopped competing. Strong support play led to two tries, while Matthew, Xander and Judah tackled tirelessly all game. Matthew earned Players Player and Harry took home the Coachβs Award for his powerhouse work in the cleanouts.
πΉ U10 Red
The Bulls went down 46-5 to a fast Harbord outfit. While the scoreboard wasnβt in our favour, the second-half response showed the character and resilience of this group. The forward pack carried strongly all day, and after some honest reflection at halftime, the team produced a much-improved second half. Player of the Match was Will, who made an outstanding debut before unfortunately leaving the field injured. Welcome to the Bulls, Will, and congratulations on a fantastic first game!
No matter the result, every team represented the club with pride, resilience and sportsmanship.
