ALL GAMES CANCELLED.
The council have closed Weily for this weekend due to all the rain, so all games will be cancelled. Under 11s and 12s that are travelling to Cambridge at this stage your games are going ahead.

Welcome back for round 3, this week we will be at Weily Park. Below is the map.

We would also like to extend a very big welcome to the BGH BREAKERS who are a brand new club joining us this year with an under 10 and under 6 team, please show them respect as they learn the ropes.

🚭 Smoking & Va**ng

Smoking and va**ng are not permitted within 20 meters of the playing fields.

🐕 Dogs

Dogs are not allowed at any of our grounds. If you bring a dog, you will be asked to remove it.

⚠️ Player & Spectator Safety

Please stay at least 1 meter (preferably 2 meters) back from the sidelines at all times. This is for everyone’s safety, and you will be asked to move if needed.

🦵 Shin Pads

Shin pads must be worn under socks. Any player without shin pads will be asked to leave the field until they are properly equipped.

Our ground managers and NSJSA delegates will be present throughout the season to help monitor game day, you will find us in high vis vests any issues or concerns on the day please come to us.

Wet weather policy.

Our grounds are checked at 730 am each game day, if we are having to cancel a round due to safety issues this will be posted on here no later than 8 am. It is a winter sport and we will play in the rain if grounds are safe.

Welcome to the 2026 Season!

The season kicks off on April 11th, with the first two rounds played before we break for the holidays. Please note:

No games will be held over the June long weekend
No games during the last two weekends of the school holidays
The final round of the season will be played on August 29th

As we head into the new season, we’d like to remind everyone of a few important guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all:

NSJSA AGM - 2026 COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS
In accordance with Rule #14.1 of the NSJSA Incorporated Rules, nominations are now called for the election of members of the Executive Committee and General Committee positions for season 2026.

Forms are required to be co-signed with the support of a current NSJSA Executive Member along with written consent from the candidate.
The nomination form is to be delivered to the NSJSA Public Officer at least ten days prior to the Annual General Meeting:

Hey everyone!

We want to make sure that everyone is aware that our Gala Day round is coming up soon. The Gala Day is a tradition the NSJSA has maintained for many years, where at the end of season, we have a fun round, hand out medals and make sure that every team has a chance to play their last game of the season. This year the Gala Day will be held at Tynwald Park by New Norfolk.

However this round is not in DRIBL yet as we are organising the roster so that no team has a bye, ensuring that everyone can be there for the last day of the season.

Please make sure you are keeping Saturday the 23rd of August clear for Gala Day at Tynwald Park. DRIBL will be updated soon to reflect this.
