I’m beyond proud of my students, Sienna and Cecilia, for showcasing their artistic routines at the Ice Hockey Classic in Hobart ❤️ What an incredible experience for them, each skating in front of a crowd of approximately 3,500 people! They were both stars out on the ice and skated so well.

Hi Everyone ,

FSAT will be running Aussie Skate (Learn to Skate) Lessons again during Shiver in June 2026.

BEGINNER LESSONS:
The link for the beginner classes is listed below for anyone who would like to jump on the ice and learn some basic skating skills or work your way up to some jumps and spins.

Aussie Skate Beginner Lessons cost $35 and include:

1 hour ice time, skate hire (if required), and a 20min group lesson with a coach.

Dates for Beginner Classes:
- 14th June - 8-9am
(arrive at 7:30am for 8am start)
- 21st June - 8-9am
(arrive at 7:30am for 8am start)
- 28th June - 8-9am
(arrive at 7:30am for 8am start)

Please note: lessons begin at the start of each session. If late, you may miss your group lesson.

Wow, what can I say! What a massive 2 weeks we just had competing at the New Zealand Masters Games in Dunedin and ANZAS in Melbourne ⛸️

I’m so incredibly proud of my student Kirra in her first Adult competitions! She has improved so much in the short time that we had to prepare for these competitions, and your hard work paid off ❤️ 🥇🥇🥉

I also had the pleasure of competing these last 2 weekends with Artistic and returning to compete in Free Skate for the first time since 2019 ❤️

So proud of all the Tassie skaters that competed and they achieved some amazing results! We definitely don’t have it easy after nearly 4 years with no permanent ice rink in Tasmania, but we continue to show up because of our love and passion of figure skating ⛸️ ❤️
