Congratulations to Harrison Young on 50 games with the Glenorchy Footy Club

Harry started his career at the pies in under 8s and has been a consistent performer for the team since game one.
He loves a tackle, he’s a great teammate and is always at the bottom of the pack doing the hard work for his mates and capped off his 50th game with a great goal.

Looking forward to seeing you play the next 50 games “Baz”

Sidney Fletcher

Sidney marked her 100th game in style with a best-on-ground performance. She dominated the ruck, controlled the airways, stood tall as a fortress in defence, and selflessly brought her teammates into the game throughout the day.

A fitting performance for a remarkable milestone. Congratulations Sidney, on 100 games for Glenorchy Football Club!

⚫️⚪️ 50 Games ⚪️⚫️

Congratulations to Travis Simmons who played game 50 for the club last Sunday when our u15 boys took on Sandy Bay at Queenborough.

Since joining the Magpies back in 2023, Trav has been a consistent performer who does his best work on a wing or as a zippy small forward.

Well done on your first 50 games in the black and white Trav and best of luck to you and the boys for the rest of 2026

⚫️⚪️ 100 Games ⚪️⚫️

Round 6 on Sunday saw our U15 boys take on Channel at Abbotsfield Park and Quinn Parkin lead the team out in game 100 for the club.

Never one to shirk a contest Quinn leads from the front, gives his all every week and is always trying to bring the best out in his team mates.

Well done to Quinn on reaching the 100-game milestone for the Magpies and good luck for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately all games and training tomorrow have been cancelled due to grounds being closed with the amount of rain we’ve had over the past few days.
We shall keep you posted about Sundays games as soon as the final decision is made around player safety and ground conditions.
