How do you get almost 130 children to stand still and pay attention? Who knows, but offer them a lollipop, and it'll buy you 30 seconds at best 🍭😄

Thank you to all our coaches and Showtime Soccer School for coping with a more chaotic training session than usual. In particular MyState Bank whose sponsorship of Football Tasmania results in all our children receiving a free ball this year. Please ensure you support the local business that put back into the community!

Lastly and certainly not leastly (is that even a word?!?) is Alby Hooper (Football Tasmania Community Football Manager). Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this sport. We realise its obviously your job, but many simply don't realise the hours of travelling you do around the state, the huge number of clubs and schools you get to, and the fact that 9-5 is certainly NOT what your job entails. You go above and beyond, and in our experience have always done your best to help every club that has engaged and asked for help. Thank you Alby on behalf of the community.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻!

Ahead of the NTJSA commencement on Friday the 16th/Saturday the 17th of April we are pleased to announce our junior registrations have increased by up to 20% on figures from last year.

This increase in junior participants has led Launceston City having 10 extra teams from U6 to U16’s at NTJSA level.

With such rapid growth we’re on the lookout for coaches ahead of the junior season commencing in just under a months’ time.

Experience isn’t necessary but a ‘Working with Vulnerable People’ card or the ability to obtain one is. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn is highly encouraged as we are happy to provide some help and mentoring for any new coaches.
