GNR Tasmania secured a solid win against Southern Raider Cricket Club in it's second friendly match for the season. Skipper chosed to bat first after winning the toss, GNR Tasmania started the inning with fiery start where Devendra smash 4 big sixes and 2 superb boundary and get the team total of 50 in just 3 over. GnR lost its first wicket where sudarshan got caught behind. Soon after that Anuj who joined the middle got out too where team looked little bit unsettled. Umang joined Devendra and started building a partnership for a while but later on, Devendra lost his wicket with score of 38 run in just 14 ball. Then after Dipendra came to the crease where he joined Umang in the crease. Before the team score went past 100, team lost its another bastman Umang scoring just 4 runs. Rohan joined skipper in the middle and played sensible inning of 21 run in 25 balls where they were able to build a partnership of over 50 runs and took the team score over 150. Skipper played a skipper inning of 64 run in 45 ball with 6 fours and 4 sixes and finished the inning with a boundary towards the square leg and got the team to the total of 182 losing only 6 of the batsman.
While defending the target of 183, skipper strikes with his first wicket in his 2nd Over of the spell. In next over, Umesh chipped another one for the team. Southern Raider lost another 2 of ther batsman to new recruit of GNR(Prakash Gurung) who make the batsman struggle to play with his pace and disciplined bowling. Southern raider lost its half a side before the poerplay finished. Southern raider's Batsmen were playing some shots in the middle overs before Anuj strikes. Later on, Skipper strikes with two late wicket before finished the inning with a run out in his name.
There was great cricket all around. Southern Raider Cricket team were fantastic in batting, bowling and fielding but it wasn't just their day today. They showed great sportsmanship. Well done Southern raider CC!!

GNR Tasmania secured a solid win against Yeti Cricket Club in it's first friendly match for the season. Bowling first after losing the toss, GNR Tasmania started the inning with economic bowling . Dipendra (skipper) himself provided early breakthrough for the team while Umesh joined the hand with skipper striking 2 early wickets within powerplay. Manish on the other hand kept his line and length and made opponent very hard to score off him. With the pressure from Manish in one end provided opportunity for Rohan to grab game changing three wickets with his sheer accuracy. When the ball was provided to Milan he made no mistake in hitting the willow with his first ball. Milan with his speed and accuracy took three more wickets. Sudarshan (1 wicket) finished the job for the team with last wicket at 18th over.
Superb bowling display and attacking fielding kept the score to 83 for Yeti Cricket club.

While chasing the total of 84, Team lost the opening batsman Susil basnet in its 2nd over with score of 8 on the board. Then comes Dibas panta who joined Prince thakuri to start outstanding partnership of 40 runs. While Prince kept one end safe, Dibas went after bowling and smashed quick 24. By the time Dibas got out with great catch from Yeti player team has scored more than 50 runs. Sudarshan joined the party and took the command in scoring the runs for the team. Sudarsan made batting look easy with fantastic three 4s in deep mid-wicket. He seemed unstoppable with his batting. However, at the other end, calm and composed Prince lost his temperment to a short ball. He scored fantastic 26 runs before being caught in short fine leg. Devendra archarya in place of Prince came and scored first six of the match with the very first ball he faced.
He seemed in hurry to take the team home and smashed another four next ball. Sudarshan (20*) finished the inning in style with boundary in midwicket region again at 14th over of the inning.
There was great cricket all around. Yeti Cricket team were fantastic in batting, bowling and fielding but it wasn't just their day today. They showed great sportsmanship. Well done Yeti!!
