our final metcon monday of the challenge- xtx starts off our week. jump into hyper before hitting cardio (hiit) on wednesday. get your pump on thursday and finish the work week with cardio summit. for a great end to our challenge, we have strength endurance. our infamous stronger for longer!

With the end of the challenge soon approaching, we want to make sure that we all stay on track and keep working. It tends to get hard in this last week, but now more than ever is when it counts. Time to TEST YOURSELF!
Are you ready to find YOUR Bench Mark!!

It’s YOU vs YOU as we start a fresh new 9-week block of training on the 4th April! This block will be heavily strength focused with the aim to build our member’s strength capacity and technique!

We want to be challenging ourselves every single session & day, meaning we want to set the benchmark early!

You will be testing your 5RM Trap Bar Deadlift & Barbell Bench Press!! More announcements coming soon…

What a great opportunity to build some strength after losing some fat from the current challenge!!!

Wondering how the challenge games looked on Sunday?

Heres a look into our day!

At BFT we are about community, and with our global acces we love to facilitate those relationships between all BFTs.

On Sunday four teams battled it out (team Hobart , team EZ, team white buckets hats & team nacho average squad. Afterwards while calculations were done, we had some food and music. Here were the results:

We are starting this week with our stronger for longer! Strength endurance with an extra set of each exercise to really get that burn.

Summit this week is working backwards (ascending sets)

🧘‍♀️Mental health awareness 🧘‍♀️

In alignment with tomorrow charity super Saturday we thought we’d take a focus an often neglected aspect of health and well-being- mental health!

Get your mind right and the rest will fall into line 🥰
Here are our top tips for improving your mental health:

❤️Always set a physical and mental health goal.
you might be focusing on shedding a few kilos there are other benefits of exercise to consider. An example of a mental health goal is to make time to do something you enjoy. Making deliberate time for yourself and yourself alone, is a way to show yourself some love. Life is busy and chaotic, but you can at least give yourself some time too.

❤️Create a Routine.
Bringing stability to your life and can provide security when things might be rough in life. Implementing a small routine every day helpsOur body will start working with muscle memory and you have more time to think about important things

❤️Eat the damn chocolate-
BFT is all about that healthy and balanced lifestyle. Coming out of the challenge, its important not to get into forceful restrictive habits. You are allowed to eat something if you feel like it. Otherwise, you end up craving it more anyway

❤️Allow time for self care-
Remember you can’t pour from an empty cup! Treat yourself- go for a walk, have a bath, watch a show you like, read a book…even training can be a form of self care!

❤️ Don’t focus purely on the scales!- results come in many ways… photos, measurements even strength changes are a great way to focus on progress!
Celebrate the wins- big or small!

❤️ Reach out for help
Whether it’s to a friend, family member, partner, coworker or just through services such as lifeline, headspace or beyond blue. Always know you can speak up and you are not alone 🥰

❤️ surround yourself with people who raise you up and don’t be afraid to cut off people who do not serve you-
These two go hand in hand.. remember you are a combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with so choose who those people are wisely 💕
