What an EPIC morning! 🌅🔥
Around 140 turned up to cheer on the Socceroos as they took on the USA — big screen on, BBQ sizzling, heaters pumping, and the vibes were unreal! 🙌💥

A massive THANK YOU to the crew who pulled this together in just 48 hours — absolute legends 💪💛

Huge appreciation to our amazing committee for helping out this morning 🙏💜💛

Special shout‑out to Matt Davis and AMSGL for shouting the bacon & egg rolls 🥓🍳 — you kept the crowd fuelled!

And big thanks to:

Saturday 8am - 10am U7 Hawks
Saturday 11am - 1pm U6 Lions
Sunday 8am - 10am U5 Giraffes
2️⃣ Please ensure you have 2 people on duty at all times throughout your shift.

🥓 BBQ Duty 🥓
Saturday - 20/6/26
8am - 9am U13/2 Boys
9am - 10am U10 White
10am - 11am U8 Black
11am - 12pm U9 Girls Green

4️⃣ Please ensure you have 4 people volunteering from your team to help cover your BBQ Shift.
🚫 Must be over 16 yrs of age to volunteer.

💜 Remember; Your Coach, Manager & Marshal already give up their time each week to support your team - So please assist them in sharing the volunteering load across the other members of the team when covering these shifts 💛

It is the teams responsibility to keep checking the BBQ & Grounds Duty Rosters, posted via the Website, to see when their duty is rostered as Rounds are released throughout the season.

⚽️💜💛 Record Breaking Performance 💛💜⚽️

Glenmore Park Represent! Nothing could get past Aussie goalie Patrick Beach when he helped the Socceroos go 2-0 to Türkiye in our first match of the World Cup yesterday! Starting out at Glenmore Park Football Club in Western Sydney, Beach broke the Aussie record by pulling off 8 saves, the most made by an Australian goalkeeper in a single World Cup match 💚💛

⚽️💜💛 ROUND 10 💛💜⚽️

Fog, rain, sunshine and plenty of football — Round 10 had it all!

From a chilly Friday night under lights, to a foggy Saturday morning and a wet Sunday that finished in beautiful sunshine, the weather kept everyone guessing. Thankfully, one thing remained constant throughout the weekend — the passion, commitment and spirit of our GPFC family! 💜💛

A special congratulations this week goes to Hamish, one of our talented U17/1 players, who made his First Grade debut! 👏🎉

What a way to mark the occasion, helping the Waratahs secure a thrilling 5-1 victory. An incredible achievement and a well-deserved opportunity for a young player who continues to work hard and develop his game.

A huge thank you also to our Waratah League and Reserve Grade coaching staff for their ongoing commitment to creating genuine pathways and opportunities for our junior players to progress and achieve their football goals.

Across the club, we heard so many fantastic stories of teamwork, resilience, improvement and success. Week after week, our players, coaches and volunteers continue to make us proud through their effort, dedication and growth both on and off the field.

Congratulations to our entire GPFC family on another fantastic weekend of football ⚽️
