Modlites NSW would like to inform everyone that due to lack of nominations that the meeting at Lismore on the 18th of April has been cancelled for Modlites.
This has brought the 25/26 season to an end.
I’m not sure what Modlites NSW needs to do to get more support for the class in NSW.
If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to comment below and I will take any ideas on board to try and get the class to grow.

Come on people
Get your nominations in.
Nominations are now open for the final round of the Dondex Southern Series at Lismore Speedway on the 18th of April.
We are also welcoming a new sponsor for the night aswell
The new sponsor is Allround Auto Electrics ( Thanks Harrison Bates)
The night will be 2 possibly 3 heats and a feature event.
We need to get a decent number of cars to make it a great night’s racing for our last race of the season

⚠️ MEETING POSTPONED – 14 MARCH ⚠️

The meeting scheduled for March 14 at Grafton Speedway has been postponed.

While we know many people were looking forward to this event, ensuring strong fields and delivering a quality race program is extremely important for both competitors and fans. When a Title event is run, it deserves the numbers and competition that make it worthy of the occasion.

Unfortunately, low nominations, along with rising fuel costs and the current fuel uncertainty with some service stations experiencing supply shortages, have impacted the ability for competitors to travel.

Rather than run an event that does not meet the standard expected, we believe postponing and working towards a stronger meeting is the best outcome for everyone involved.

We will now work with the divisions to secure a new date, which will be announced once confirmed.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support.

Nominations are now open for Round 3 of the Dondex Southern Series at Grafton Speedway on the 14/03
We have been in discussions with the Grafton Speedway Promoter
We have been given two options for the round pending car numbers

Option1 ( less than 10 cars )
Two heats ( possibly three time pending ) and a feature event

Option 2 ( 10 cars plus )
Two heats
Then a Gold , Silver ,Bronze shoot
out
Explanation of shoot out
Top 8 cars after the two heats go out to the middle
Slowest four cars get three hot laps.
Quickest two stay on the track
Slowest two to the middle
Then the next two cars come out on track to join the other two
Then three hot laps.
Slowest two to the middle
Etc
The way the cars finish in the shootout is the grid draw for the feature.
Quickest car is grid draw #1

Let’s get as many nominations as possible and try out the new format.

Quick Shoutout To Driver Wade Hodgess For Making A Young Kids Day!

When this child came up and asked for a photo, Wade was more than happy to take a few and did so in such a kind matter. As competitive as all drivers are, we’re all in it for the love of the sport and to entertain the crowds and bring people joy. This is exactly what happened tonight and it was so wholesome to see.
