The Glengarry Recreation Reserve Committee of Management wishes to advise that preparation works will be commencing Wednesday 10 March 2021 at the Glengarry Recreation Reserve for the removal of the 7 dangerous pine trees along the Cairnbrook Road boundary. This will initially entail the removal of the boundary fence along Cairnbrook Road together with other necessary preparation works.

It is expected that the felling of the trees will commence on Thursday 11 March 2021 and carry over to Friday 12 March 2021. We expect limited access to the Recreation Reserve and at times no access to ensure the safety of the workers and the community.

We apologise for any inconvenience these works may have to the community but the short term and long term safety for all users of the facility and the community as a whole is paramount to us.

Should you have any queries with respect to the above, please do not hesitate to contact Mark Bermingham on 0408 518 625.

We thank you for your patience and understanding whilst these works are undertaken.
