Metro Showjumping Club

Metro Showjumping Club Established in 1972, Metro Showjumping Inc is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the sport of show jumping within South Australia and beyond.

Metro Showjumping club has one of the best show jumping grounds in the country. The complex is used on 45 weeks of the year, drawing competitors and spectators from all over Australia. Many competitors stay on the grounds during the year when competing at the Adelaide Royal Show and other events. Interstate competitors are welcome to, and do, use the grounds as a temporary stop to exercise their h

orses and break up a long trip. The grounds are fully fenced and within walking distance to Glenelg. The grounds have a full size, all weather Olympic jumping arena, warm up arenas, 26 stables and a camping area with power. Facilities include a fully licensed canteen and hot showers. The Metro committee, every second sunday of the month, will have ready for you 2 showjumping courses, to start at 9:00am. Ring A starts at approximately 40cm and Ring B at 70cm. The height is raised by one hole (approx 10cm) once everyone has had their round. There is no limit to the height we can get to. You can do up to two rounds at each height (three if numbers are small) - and of course we expect that you would only do the number of rounds that your horse is fit enough to comfortably do on that day. Equestrian Australia, Pony Club and Riding Club members must produce proof of current membership. Riders without any memberships will need to pay insurance for the day. Discounted rates apply to Metro members. Become a member today and receive these benefits:
