🌟FIRST SEMI FINAL RESULTS - 30 AUGUST 2026🌟

A massive Sunday at Tantanoola for the First Semi Final. Commiserations to our B Grade Football and A Reserve and 15&Under Netball who unfortunately bowed out. They all performed admirably and did us proud. Congratulations to the A Grade Netball girls on a tight win to keep their season alive.

15&U Netball
These girls came up against a tough Tant side and showed plenty of heart, fighting it out right until the end and producing some brilliant play throughout the match. Bad luck and well done on a great season! We are proud of you all.
Glencoe 30 lost to Tantanoola 41
Best - Mia Richardson, Eliza Peters

B Grade Football
The boys played some good footy but the warm conditions did not work in our favour and made it difficult to push the game out. They couldn’t quite get over the line but we are really proud of the B Grade’s effort and their strong season.
Glencoe - 9.9 63
Mount Burr - 13.6 84
Goal Kickers - Brodie Pfitzner 6, Sam Giersch, Henry Smith
Best Players - Brodie Pfitzner, Justin Dejong, Daniel Royals, Isaac Stubberfield, Kaleb Price, Henry Smith

A Reserve Netball
A remarkable effort by these girls, they really turned it around from their last encounter with Tant and never let the game go, pushing back strong even when the margin did widen. Unlucky to go down by two. We are so proud of their efforts.
Glencoe 41 lost to Tantanoola 43
Best - Tameka Medhurst, Jasmine Rokov

A Grade Netball
The girls came up against a really tough Port Mac side who refused to go away, but they fought hard all game and kept the ball safe to come away with a two-goal win. They get a deserved shot at the Preliminary Final at home next week. Well done!!
Glencoe 50 def Port Mac 48
Best - Ashlea Pfitzner, Zoe Mulraney

🌟SECOND SEMI FINAL RESULTS - 29 AUGUST 2026🌟

A beautiful day down at Kongorong and great to come away with a win!

The Senior Colts started strong, before Nangwarry pushed back with a surge but the boys were able to keep creating play and stem the flow quickly to get things back on our terms. They entirely dominated the second half to record a solid win and have now booked themselves a spot in the Grand Final in two weeks time! Well done boys we are so proud of you all! 🙌

Nangwarry - 5.2 32

🏐 NETBALL END OF MINOR ROUND REVIEW
Another successful season of Netball at Glencoe! We are excited to have our A Grade, A Reserve and 15&U sides continuing on into the Finals Series and thank all our players & volunteers for their efforts throughout 2026!
-
A Grade
Ladder Position - 3rd
12 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw
A bit of a turbulent season for our reigning Premiers with player losses and movement throughout but Sarah has once again proven to be able to get the best out of her players, getting the wins on the board when it mattered. It has been a tight competition this year, but they have set themselves up for another strong finals campaign and will play Port Mac in Sunday’s elimination final.
-
A Reserve
Ladder Position - 4th
8 wins, 8 losses
The A Reserve has unfortunately suffered a number of significant injuries this year as well as being affected by player movements. It has been difficult to find continuity but they have all worked hard and managed to scrape into the four! They have plenty of talent across the Court and could really go anywhere in the finals. They will play Tantanoola in Sunday’s elimination final.
-
B Grade
Ladder Position - 7th
4 wins, 12 losses
Another very new group for the B Grade with lots of faces new to Glencoe. They were lacking in shooters for much of the year but proved that they can be extremely adaptable and have managed to stay consistent throughout. It was a great improvement from the 2025 season and hopefully these girls will only come back stronger in 2027.
-
B Reserve
Ladder Position - 5th
6 wins, 8 losses
The self-proclaimed social queens, these girls have certainly had a really fun season, with plenty of celebrations off the Courts! On court they have continued to improve and improve and were unlucky to just miss out on finals. Again, the young group can stick together and take it one step further in 2027.
-
17&Under
Ladder Position - 5th
7 wins, 8 losses, 1 draw
We had very low numbers in 17s this year and lots of injuries throughout, which did not help! It was lovely to see lots of new faces join the Club and thank you to the 15s who regularly backed up for two matches. The girls did have some wonderful games and worked hard. Quite a few will move up to Seniors next year and we congratulate them on their successful junior careers!
-
15&Under
Ladder Position - 3rd
11 wins, 5 losses
Another great season from this group of players. They have lots of strength across the Court and have proved their adaptability. We have unfortunately suffered a few injuries late in the season but the girls will still be aiming to push deep into the finals with their first test being Tantanoola on Sunday. These sides shared the head to head results throughout the season and it should be an intriguing battle!
-
13&Under
Ladder Position - 7th
3 wins, 13 losses
We again had low numbers in our 13s side this year. We welcomed a few new faces which was very pleasing and we were lucky to have two players playing both 13s and Junior Ones every week and Lachy play both Junior Colts and 13s. Our Junior Ones were a tremendous support sitting bench and starting matches most weeks. There was plenty of improvement in this side and they should be proud of their efforts.
-
Junior One
Ladder Position - 5th
6 wins, 10 losses
A wonderful season by the Junior Ones! Keeping score and having a ladder for the second season, this group of girls have developed immensely throughout the season, working into their positions and finding some really great play! Well done to them all on a fun and successful season!
-
Junior Two
A super exciting year for our Junior Twos with six of the seven playing their first ever season of netball! They didn’t keep score, but they were certainly competitive and the development was enormous! Well done to you all for learning the game and coming so far this season!

🏈 FOOTBALL END OF MINOR ROUND REVIEW 🏈

Another successful season at the Glencoe Football Club in 2026! It is now the end of the road for our A Grade, Junior Colts and U/11s but we are thrilled to have our B Grade and Senior Colts continuing on into the Finals Series! We congratulate all of our players and volunteers on a wonderful season.
-
A Grade
Ladder Position: 6th
6 wins, 10 losses
Although we didn’t post as many wins as we might have liked, the boys still had a really strong season. We were unlucky to go down in a couple of close games but showed real grit to push some of the more highly ranked sides right to the end. It was wonderful to be able to provide plenty of Senior experience to a lot of our Senior Colts players and this will hold them in excellent stead as they make their way into full-time Senior football. Again our core leaders stood tall and took on heavy workloads. Reece Duncan completed his third and final season as Senior Coach. We have loved welcoming the Duncan family into Glencoe and thank Reece for his leadership, hard work and dedication.
-
B Grade
Ladder Position - 3rd
12 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw
A very strong season from our B Grade side, who only dropped three games to see themselves in 3rd position on the ladder at the end of the Minor Round. The side has lots of experienced campaigners, strength across every line, and plenty of firepower.
After good wins against Mount Burr during the season they will carry plenty of confidence into their elimination final against them this Sunday and will be looking to push it all the way.
-
Senior Colts
Ladder Position - 1st
15 wins, 1 loss
An almost unblemished season for the two-time reigning Premiers, only dropping the one match to Nangwarry at Nangwarry.
They are an extremely committed and hard working group who have a unique blend of incredible individual talents, but with everyone buying-in to a team-first mentality. Special mention must be made of Dan Ferguson kicking over 100 goals for the season - an act of individual brilliance built on the back of a solid team effort.
They are looking to make it three in a row and will start their finals campaign on Saturday against Nangwarry.
-
Junior Colts
Ladder Position - 8th
3 wins, 13 losses
Again the Junior Colts were a very young side and did struggle a little for numbers. After a winless 2025, it was wonderful to see them put 3 wins on the board. The boys worked extremely hard and every one of them gave it their all every single week, pushing a number of more highly ranked opponents. They should be proud of their efforts and will come back bigger and stronger in 2027.
-
U/11s & Auskick
There was a great group of kids participating in our Auskick and U11 program this year and it is amazing to see the joy they get out of training and hitting the field when they could on a Saturday. They have all improved astronomically in skills and game awareness and had a lot of fun along the way! We are so lucky to be able to offer this program throughout the entire season.
