đź—Ł Speaking Up for Fairness

I normally don’t post negative thoughts, but I feel I must share something that really upset me today. As a committee member of a sports club, part of my responsibility is to ensure fair use of our facilities — which includes checking whether unfamiliar faces are members or have paid the visitor’s fee.

Most people do the right thing — they pay the $6 visitor fee before play, no questions asked. But sadly, there are a few who pretend not to know the rules, become defensive, or even aggressive when approached. It’s disheartening.

We are a community club run by volunteers doing our best to keep things fair for everyone. Is $6 really too much to pay for two hours of play, especially when it helps maintain the courts and supports the club?

Let’s all show respect — for the rules, for the volunteers, and for each other.

🙏 If you’re a regular member, please help us spread awareness of the visitor policy. Your support makes it easier for everyone to enjoy our courts in a respectful and fair environment.
