Lions 3/151 (35 overs) defeated South East Willow Grove 122 (33.3 overs) by 29 runs.

While the scoreboard didn't favor us today, it was a fantastic day for the South East Willow Grove family.
Our bowlers displayed remarkable discipline, limiting the Lions to 151 off 35 overs:
• Sheree Midson: 6 overs, 0/11 — an incredible economy rate of 1.83
• Kate Richards: 6 overs, 1/18 — provided our first breakthrough
• Kylie Johnston: 3 overs, 0/10
• Tracey Vallance: 3 overs, 1/11
• Tricia Weickhardt: 4 overs, 1/21
Additionally, sharp catches from Rachel Jenkinson and the rest of the team made a difference.
In pursuit of 152 runs, Kate Richards stood out with a steady 34 runs off 80 balls (top scorer and the backbone of the innings). Natarsha Richards contributed 11, Tricia added 9, and Rachel chipped in with 8, while skipper Joy Wilkes remained not out at the end, expertly guiding the team behind the stumps throughout bowling innings and game.
Player of the match undoubtedly goes to Kate for her 34 runs and 1/18 with the ball. A special shoutout to Sheree for her outstanding economy rate.
