Tuesday 01.09.26. Bus trip to Toowoomba

Great to be back at Toowoomba City Bowls Club for our annual
Bowls day which consisted of 7 rinks and 2 games of 12 end triples.

We left Glass House at 6.15am and arrived home at 6.30pm.

Thanks Toowoomba for your hospitality once again. 👌. Thank you to all the volunteers in the kitchen and bar.

We look forward to seeing you at Glass House next year.

Grant Podmore, Vice President, Glasshouse (L) is congratulated by Merv Jones, City President (R) on retaining the Glasshouse vs City Trophy for another year. In a very close match this time, Glasshouse 154 defeated City 149. The best performing team for Glasshouse were - Kerry Munster, Dick Coppa & Paul Maher 😀well done. The best performing City Team were Sandra Bell, Cyril Curgenven & Shirley Baines.

Winners of the winners with the highest winning margin in the 2nd game on count back was Greg McKenzie. Warren Blackbourne and Graham Nicholson with + 10.

R/Up with the winners of the losers with the highest winning margin in the 2nd game were Bobette Cross, Russ Turner and Gavin Linnan with + 26.
