Important Update – Beerwah Oztag

To our players, parents, referees and supporters,

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported the Beerwah Oztag community over the past three seasons. It has been a privilege to help establish and grow the local competition.

My involvement as Venue Manager has now concluded.

I understand from information provided to families who have contacted Queensland Oztag directly that a Beerwah Oztag competition will not be conducted this season, and that players wishing to continue with Queensland Oztag have been directed to neighbouring venues.

As I am no longer involved with the Beerwah Oztag venue, this page will no longer be actively monitored or updated.

If you would like information about TFL (Tag Football League), a separate and independent local competition, please follow the TFL Australia page, where future announcements and responses to enquiries will be provided.

Thank you again for your support, friendships and the wonderful community that was built around Beerwah Oztag. I wish everyone all the very best for the future.

🏉 A MEGA-SIZED, SKY-HIGH congratulations to our Oztag MVPs — the brave little legends who sprinted like lightning bolts, tagged like tiny ninjas and brought enough energy to power the entire suburb for a week.

These kids didn’t just play Oztag…
They soared, they dived, they strategised and at one point definitely confused a referee with moves no adult could ever predict.
Their efforts were so heroic that several parents on the sidelines needed a sit-down and a deep breath just from watching. 😅

🌞 Tough Conditions, Strong Effort 🌞

Monday’s game really tested our players, with extreme heat making it one of the toughest matches of the season so far. Despite the challenging conditions, all our kids showed incredible determination and teamwork. We couldn’t be prouder of how they looked out for each other, stayed hydrated and pushed through until the final whistle.

Congratulations to our MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS this week. We hope you enjoy your treats!!
