We've had a massive win for our Braking the Cycle program today with one of our own Community Development Officers, Mason, passing his P's test on his very FIRST ATTEMPT!🤯🤩

Mason has been a longstanding member with our club, first attending our Youth Drop-In's and joining our Braking the Cycle program, to then joining our Youth Leadership Team before jumping onboard as a Community Development Officer. He has grown immensely in his time with us, and we couldn't be prouder of him and this latest milestone on his road to independence!🥳

Make sure to congratulate Mason when you see him around the club, and if you would like to learn more about our Braking the Cycle program or how to get involved as a volunteer to help more young Queenslanders like Mason, then you can reach us on 07 4972 3122, or [email protected]💛💙

📣Hey Gladstone!📣

Our Youth Programs are doing some cool things over the school holidays, and we need your help!🙌

We are wanting small cardboard box donations similar to the size of what Nici is holding, or even cereal boxes (empty of course)📦

If you can help, that would be wonderful and greatly appreciated! Please drop them into PCYC Gladstone at 53 Yarroon Street this week and let the lovely counter staff know it's for youth programs 🙂

And be sure to keep your eye on our page to see what the team have planned!👀

🌊Check out what our Youth Leadership Team got up to on Saturday! 🌊

They went to Awoonga Dam, had lunch, played games, listened to music, chased rainbows and they had that much fun they even fell asleep on the way home!😂

This was also a little special outing for our Youth to spend some more time with Sarge as he retires from the Police Force next week🫶

Be sure to drop down this week or next Tuesday to wish him all the best!🚓

If you would like to be a part of our Youth Leadership Team, or want to know more, please feel free to contact the club or drop in on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3.30-5.30pm🤩

Stress is something most of us are familiar with. With rising interest rates, work life, family dynamics, and conflicts across the world, it’s no wonder.

But it’s not only adults who feel this stress, our young people often do too.

Tila shares: “When I come to PCYC, I’m usually really stressed and angry, and then when I start boxing, it’s like all that lets go. I can focus more now on school.”

Our free youth programs use sports like boxing and basketball to provide positive ways for young people to release built-up stress and emotions, that they might not otherwise know how to healthily manage.

Right now, more young people than ever before are coming to PCYC looking for support. You can help us make a difference – donate now, every dollar counts: https://www.pcyc.org.au/make-a-donation-2/

💥NEW GROUP TRAINING TIMETABLE💥

Many of our members will know that we have had to say goodbye to Charlie, one of our amazing Gym & Fitness Instructors, as he steps into a new role with the awesome team at PCYC Bayside, and while we are so stoked for him, we will miss him dearly😢

As such, our Group Training timetable has temporarily changed and will be effective from this Monday 15th of June!💪

Be sure to grab an updated timetable from the reception, and we look forward to seeing you in some classes!😁
