🏉 SENIOR FOOTBALL MANAGER FOR ARDROSSAN FOOTBALL CLUB 🏉

AFC is seeking applications for the newly created position of Football Manager to lead and drive our senior football program.

This is a key paid leadership role responsible for player retention, recruitment, football operations, and helping build a strong and sustainable future for senior football at our club. Remuneration is provided for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead senior player recruitment and retention strategies

✅ Manage player contracts and player points compliance

✅ Assist with football budgeting alongside the President and Treasurer

✅ Support the management and development of senior coaches

✅ Build and maintain relationships within local and Adelaide football networks

✅ Identify and engage potential recruits and key football contacts

✅ Strengthen the club's presence and reputation within football circles

✅ Attend games and football events as required

✅ Utilise the Trainstop recruitment platform to identify, track and engage prospective players

What We're Looking For:

• Strong football knowledge and passion for community sport

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Proven ability to identify talent and support recruitment efforts

• Organised and capable of managing multiple football operations

• A person committed to helping build a successful and sustainable senior football program

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the Club President

• Works closely with the Senior Coach, Football Committee and Executive

🏉Did Yorke Peninsula Football League need some Luck?….Just as well Tom was there 🎯

The Banana Kick by Will Neumann was followed a minute later by the match winner by Tom Luck from the Wallaroo Football Club.

To show the quality of the Nutrien Cup & the quality of the teams the Adelaide Plains Football League played 2 games in the afternoon…lost this one after the siren & North Eastern Football League beat them by a solitary point 🤦🏻

🏉 “Gee Willakas” what a Goal!!!!!🏉

Down by a goal, Yorke Peninsula Football League needed something special late in the last half & that something came from Will Neumann from Kadina Football and Netball Club 🎯

When the skipper kicks it to you on a tight angle you don’t want to let him down…one of many of the great highlights from Saturday’s NUTRIEN CUP 🏆

Not 100% sure what a “Willakas” is but it’s fair to say the excitement level of Bryce in the commentary box was pretty high 😂

🏉 UNDER 17’s NUTRIEN B.O.G.’s 🏉

Congratulations to North Eastern Football League’s Eli Mitchell from the Min/Man Eagles (who kicked 4 and handed out a few) & Adelaide Plains Football League’s Connor Willmer from the Balaklava Football and Netball Club, who was excellent in the mid field, who were adjudged Best On Ground in Saturdays Nutrien Cup Grand Final by the SARF crew 👍🎯

The quality of all leagues U17’s games was outstanding…the future looks bright 💡

NUTRIEN CUP 2026 ❤️

Congratulations to the Northern Areas Football Association (SENIORS) & North Eastern Football League (U17s) who were the winners of yesterday’s NUTRIEN CUP….& well done to all involved, particularly the Crystal Brook Footy Club for a brilliantly run day AND also just as importantly to all the umpires, boundary umps, goal umps & all the officials…a very well run day 👍

Yesterdays best players for each of the teams involved in the GF (adjudged by SARF & others) were Campbell Combe for the champs & Jarman Sigal from runner-up Yorke Peninsula Football League from the Moonta Football Club 🙏

Special cheerio to SANFL’s Simon Purdue & Jacinta Huxtable for their input & support throughout day 🎯❤️
