🐾 Reminder: No Animals at Netball
A friendly reminder that dogs and other pets are not permitted at GNA netball grounds on game days or training nights.
While we know pets are part of the family, sporting grounds can be busy, noisy and unpredictable environments. Animals at the courts can create safety risks, including:
• Players, umpires and spectators tripping or being distracted
• Dogs becoming stressed by crowds, whistles, balls and noise
• Hygiene concerns around playing areas and spectator spaces
• Young children approaching animals without understanding boundaries
• Unexpected reactions from animals in a high-energy environment
For the safety and comfort of everyone, we ask that all families please leave pets at home.
Support dogs are, of course, an exception.
If you require a support dog at netball, please notify GNA in advance so we can make sure the appropriate people are aware and support this safely and respectfully.
Thank you for helping us keep our courts safe, welcoming and focused on netball 💙💛

GNA needs your help! 💙💛

We’re looking for a grounds person to help keep our courts and surrounds looking good throughout the season.

This role may suit someone who has a little spare time and would like to give back to the club — maybe a shift worker who could help out on days off, or even two people who would like to share the role.

Jobs may include a small amount of mowing/poisoning, maintaining fences, checking netball hoop nets, marking out mini grass courts as needed, and other small fix-it jobs that pop up.
Interested?
Come and see us at the clubhouse on Tuesday nights for more info, or email [email protected].
