𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗖 | 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

GABA is pleased to announce that the Gladstone Regional Indoor Sports Centre (GRISC) project has reached a significant milestone, with Development Approval (DA) now officially granted. This marks a major step forward in turning a long-awaited community facility into reality.

With approval now in place, the project team is moving ahead with the finalisation of the engineering design and Construction is set to begin soon after, with the centre on track for completion by mid-2026.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Australian Government for its generous support through the Priority Community Infrastructure Program, and to the local community for its continued patience and encouragement throughout this journey.

This is a key step toward delivering a facility that will benefit the Gladstone region for generations to come. We look forward to keeping the community updated as the GRISC project continues to progress.
