Hi Everyone,

I have changed the name of the page from BEAST Super Stadium to reflect a better representation of the much broader purpose, of combining and bringing together as many Gladstone Not For Profit clubs as possible, under one big family.

The new name is now Gladstone Region Super Stadium.

The goal is the same, BEAST Training Centre is still the driving force and wants everyone following our journey to see this is being built for everyone. The names on the building reflect the legal business entities and business applying for all the grants and funds to get this to the next stage.

My Beautiful Wife JO and I have made a commitment to help bring as many new events and activities to the 2025 Gladstone Show as possible.

Anyone that knows us, knows how passionate and dedicated we are to our town, and working alongside Robyn and Noel, we are beyond pumped to start releasing some of the new ideas and activities for the 2025 Gladstone Show Society Show. Our dream is to make the Gladstone Show Society Showgrounds the number one place for entertainment, with the hugest range of activities offered for our community to enjoy and be proud of.

The first online interaction where we are chasing your feedback is, is helping us name the "Grandma + Scooter" event.

For ease of following and communicating with as many people as possible, I will be creating a separate event link for this event and some of the other events involved (ie: Lawnmower races, Stroller Races, Go-Kart Races and a few other really fun activities to entertain the crowd).

I will be posting it on several platforms as well, and then presenting the best choices for a final vote.

Any businesses and brands wishing to come on board as sponsors, we will be looking from as small as $100 (trophies and individual prizes) to a few thousand as the Major Naming Sponsor for this section of the event. (we have several areas where funds will help us make this event and the other similar ones, as safe as possible for the entrants).

Please comment your suggestion in the comments below. The suggestions that get the most likes on the posts, will be put forward to the final public vote.

Next meeting with GRC about the next stage of the Stadium plans is on the 30 October and after then, more information regarding the project will be announced. (Photo below).

Whilst the Super Stadium project is a multi stage project, the Go Fund Me we have set up is to try and raise a kickstarter campaign to get the brand new pavilion built in the mean time.
We have raised $140 and I’m hoping that after I start building the 3D model, I can bring it to our Bunnings BBQ’s next year, so the public can get a better idea of what we are working towards.
I have already applied to 6 grants to try and get it off the ground.

Once the pavilion is built, we will be hosting as many weekend events as possible. All under cover and out of the weather, which we have always pushed through and endured in the majority of our events.

A few plans for the pavilion;
Setting up Friday and Saturday skating nights, weekend paintball and laser tag events, local artist concerts, local markets, local business meet and greet events, various events like BBQ comps, Car and Bike shows being hosted undercover, concerts and kids dance parties being undercover and so many other activities, as well as providing a Show Society undercover entertainment area for the Gladstone Show.
These plus many more events are all in the scope of what I am aiming for in the Pavilion build.

The Stadium plans are for the permanent facilities being built for BEAST Training Centre (MMA + ShinBudoKan + Muay Thai + Wrestling + Kickboxing + Boxing + Judo + Catchwrestling + Kyokushin + Taekwondo + Krav Maga + Kung Fu),
Indoor Skating, Roller Derby, Indoor Cricket, Indoor Futsal, Indoor Volleyball, Gladstone Athletics, Cafe and Sports shop for the sports clubs involved in our centre, as well as the lecture and training room facilities for the public to use.

THE PEOPLES PAVILION - GLADSTONE

Pavilion Project Update
- 100m * 30m * 12m
(please note this is Separate to the Stadium funding and construction, as this short term project will allow a massive range of activities to commence whilst going through the much more expensive grants to continue in the background).

Super excited with the speed and amount of quotes that have come through in such a short time.

The Pavilion Project will provide enough overhead cover for a diverse range of activities that we have coming up at the Gladstone Showgrounds under our BEAST Training Centre ongoing development project with the Gladstone Show Society.

Construct a Multi-Purpose Sports Facility in Gladstone

Hi Gladstone, looking for donations for something I am trying to get together for the 2024 Gladstone Show Society on the 06th of July.

⛳️ MINI GOLF / PUTT PUTT COURSE ⛳️

Anyone that has any timber they no longer need, that would make suitable edging for the boundaries, please let me know what you have so I can check it would be suitable.
Any donations that would benefit the building of the course, would be greatly appreciated, I’ll even take cash donations to help me buy fake grass for any that we make in time.
- Timber edging
- Plyboard for the flooring to walk on
- Old toys, slides, ramps that we could use as obstacles on the course
- PVC piping to make tunnels for the balls to travel through
- Golf Balls
- Golf Clubs

This course is in no way shape or form going to resemble a professional put putt course in only 2 weeks.
However what it will do is allow me and my volunteer’s to build something fun, that parents and kids can play together at the Show this year.
A gold coin donation is all I am asking for to play a round of golf, with every $ raised going towards making this a permanent feature, so people can enjoy playing this all year round.

After the Show my fellow volunteers and I will continue to make the course better and more enjoyable, with any funding, grants, raffle funds etc helping make this into quite a large and fun size Mini Golf course for our community.

Any interested business can also sponsor “hole number 1, hole number 3” etc and either build the course or donate the funds to buy the required materials.

There’s some seriously sad people in this town, I get a lot of anonymous posts or fake accounts posting how much they want to see me fail at this Gladstone Country Music Festival next weekend.

First I’m really thick skinned.
Second I’m doing this for the community.

So I knew I was going to have those that loved it, as well as those that hate it. Our BEAST Promotions posters had the same thing happen.

We put up 12 GCMF posters, and after only 1 poster remaining, we made another 15 large posters from our mates Robert and Danielle from Reef City Tinting, and then last week ordered another 20 smaller size express posters.

So that’s 35 I’m putting up today. I feel sad for you if you are that petty, that ripping down our posters and cutting them in half on the side of the road gives you any amount of satisfaction.

One day when we have enough funds raised and events running to support the building of our BEAST Super Stadium, with the inclusion of 16 Not For Profit sports clubs, a soup kitchen running 3 days a week for our poor and homeless, a function hall that’s free to hire, an approved Olympic training facility so we can become a hub of athletic excellence in our region, across as many sports as possible, the small pokies area that is being used to fund $3 meals for Veterans and Pensioners, 7 nights a week, a restaurant with a train the trainer program for various apprenticeships, 2 large undercover pavilions so the Gladstone Show Society has overhead buildings for all our stalls, side show alleys, and things like that, I hope you drive by and look at it and feel proud that you’re contribution was “pulling down and cutting up signs”.
Once you see how big these plans are, and the stages to achieve over the next 5-20 years, you will be proud that your kids and grandkids are growing up in a town with these state of the art facilities.

I have one arm and a back that’s only just working, but it won’t stop me spending a few hours today and tomorrow putting these 35 new signs up around the town.

Gladstone, if you see one disappear please just send me a message, I’ll go and find it if I can, tape it back up, then hang it up again.

I have an Unbreakable Spirit, especially if it’s the biggest legacy I want to leave behind before I pass the Great Divide.

Spend your time trying to make a positive contribution to the people and community that you represent. Everything else about you goes with you to the grave.
The only things that people can’t take from you, are the memories and moments from your life, that defined your character and your spirit. That will be enduring long after you pass, if you did things right.

Another step closer to our vision of building the BEAST Super Stadium after a few meetings yesterday. One of the biggest visions and goals we are aiming for at BEAST Martial Arts And Fitness Academy, is the inclusion of female sports as a major effort, and not just a side thought behind the more male dominated male sports.

We have included separate change rooms, toilets and shower facilities in the development of stage 1 for the new BEAST Super Stadium. Other key points are funding for clothing and equipment specifically for all females, compared to receiving hand me down uniforms and equipment.

Its a massive project and one that JO and I are already 2 1/2 years into as a solo project. With Olympic Sports being huge focus of our pathways and facilities, we are motivated to achieve this for the community we call home.

I will be sharing lots more regarding what we are trying to build through the BEAST Super Stadium, both here and also the BEAST Promotions pages. We want the Gladstone Show Society and Showgrounds to be an all year round HUB of activity for sports games, tournaments, concerts, dance performances, music festivals, markets, fight night's, circus's, the GREAT Festival - Gladstone Region Eats and Treats and anything else we can cater for.
