Nominations for the 2026 Theodore Junior Open are now being accepted. As per previous years there is free camping at Theodore Golf Club on the Saturday night, and all parents and 18-hole juniors can play in Theodore Saturday afternoon competition. Contact details are on the flyer below for those wishing to nominate. This is also a Districts Points Challenge Event.

Golf Central Queensland is still seeking 18 Hole Junior Girls who would be interested in being part of the 2026 Junior Jug Team. In 2025, Central Queensland was very successful – winning the coveted jug but most importantly the team is exposed to high level competition experience, building friendships with golfers across the state and development opportunities during the camp including workshops with PGA professionals. All junior jug teams stay at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre from the 19th September, returning home 23 September. Each day players will compete in the Katherine Kirk Classic at the Maroochy River GC. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums, grandmothers and mother figures in our Gladstone Junior Golf family 💐⛳

Thank you for the early mornings, endless support, encouragement, car rides, snacks, sunscreen, and cheering from the sidelines. Our juniors are lucky to have such incredible people behind them every step of the way.
