Another beautiful day of sailing on Saturday before the storm rolled in. Thanks to all the members getting in the support boats in record time!

We were all safely back on shore when the wild weather hit ⛈️
Next week the first round of the club championship!😁

The fun is about to start again! Season opening race this Saturday (12 Sept). Make sure you have renewed your membership and registered your boat!

It is going to be a big season with a lot of boats registered!

Interested in learning about how you can get involved in sailing? Come down to the club on Saturday after 12 noon and enjoy the spectacle from the balcony.

The end of another great sailing season is closing in.

To celebrate the 2025/2026 season, the social committee invite you to join them on the balcony for dinner after the final race on 28 March.

You can expect souvlaki skewers with all the trimmings - wraps, dips and salads!
We do ask, if you are able, please bring a dessert plate to share after the meal.

If you are able to join us on the night, please RSVP here - End of Season Celebration 28 March 2026 – Fill in form

Adults - $25.00, Kids - $20.00 and it will be pay on the night.

Australian 12ft Skiffs

Ask a skiff sailor what the hardest boat is to sail and most will nominate the 12ft skiff, a development class sailed by two crew and providing some of the hairiest downwind rides imaginable and it has attracted young and older sailors alike.

Three A12SC cherubs competed at the 61st Cherub nationals at Double Bay Sailing Club Whiplash ended a respectable 15th, and Lick This on 18th and No Excuses on 29th.
