Charlotte D’Crus made the most of the school holidays joining the Chair of the Women’s Committee Sharon Kemp and Barb Grbac in the Wednesday 9-hole competition. What a great way to learn the game, guided by two of Gisborne’s friendliest and most welcoming members, committed to nurturing and growing our junior players. You’re never too young to start learning how to play golf. Gisborne’s Chair of the Women’s Committee Sharon Kemp and Barb Grbac had the pleasure to play with one of our young stars, 10-year-old Aaya Kaur. Aarya is one of our juniors participating in the Girls Scholarship Program and has been attending clinics run by our PGA Professional instructor Callum Wllkinson. Aarya brought her mother Byrdi, along to caddy, and everyone enjoyed a terrific 9 holes. Moments like these remind us how bright our future is when we welcome and nurture such talented young players.

Our Gisborne Women golfers continued the great run of success when visiting other clubs. The winners for the Bacchus Marsh Women's Bowl for 2026 were the team of Louise Ball, Marg Barker and Helen Flentje. Congratulations on a great win.
