For those coming to our horse trials on the 24th and 25th of January, and looking for training opportunity, there are limited spaces remaining in our annual renowned eventing clinic on the 9-11th of January. With coaches, Emily Anker, Will Enzinger, Jamie Murray, Adam Wooten and Justine Greer. Happy New Years! 🎆🥳 Each year our New Years Resolution is to run a bigger and better event. Hot off the press, this year Gisborne Horse Trials is well underway building our inaugural CCN2*, built by Australia's only resident level 4 cross country designer, Ewan Kellett. Entries are open and filling fast! 🏃‍♂️‍➡️From Ev65 to CCN2* including young horse divisions. We look forward to seeing everyone on the grounds of the I.R Robinsons reserve on the 24th of January! Here is a sneak peek of our brand new 2* fences 👀

Well the new 1* Trakehner jump was certainly a talking point of this years cross country course. For those interested in the numbers the tree and root ball weighed 5.5t by themselves and 11t of force to pull out of the ground.
A special thanks to International Cranes. For moving the massive log into place.

Congratulations to Kelly Fyfe for being the first person on course to successfully negotiate it!

Gisborne EA Horse Trials 2025

I see a wee bit of a trend happening in the Lang household, first Mirri "borrowed" dad's horse, and it seem young Tex has followed in her tracks, only this time, he "borrowed" mum's horse!

massive congrats to Tex Lang for winning the Ev95 section B class on Chatswood Delago..... and a MASSIVE thanks to the entire Lang family who are a massive back bone in the weekends horse trials!
Well done Team!!

I don't think I have ever seen this lady not smile, even when drunk with a huge teddy bear and spilling her drink @ the Hobby Horse Olympics....

more reasons to smiles today for Ebony Toole, winning the Ev65 4/5 year old class today @ Gisborne Horse Trials on the colourful looking Art Major - no doubt has done his late date, Splash of Class proud!!
