These 3 boys lost in their tournaments today, and instead of taking the day off, they got back on the court to work at their craft.

You can’t just talk about culture and environment, you need to live and breathe it. You need to be able to provide it for your students through actions, not a motivational pep talk.

Not only is it these 3 boys, but another 4 students who played in the finals today are also coming to do their tennis lessons.

It would’ve been easier to just go home, and they had the option to, but they chose to come and put the work in.

The answer of “ how do I become great” is in the work, not in the theory.

Not many times in life do you get a second chance at your dream. Bealey is making the absolute most of his.

This isn’t just about winning tournaments, it’s about becoming the best version of yourself. Someone that your younger self would strive to be like. Someone who looks at discomfort and fear, and runs straight at it. Because that’s the only way. The answers are in the work itself.

We are really proud of you, and I am grateful to work closely with you as your coach and best friend.

Let’s keep exploring, being curious and pushing each other to new levels.

Lead with your actions, not your words. Your actions are more powerful than any words you’ll say. It’s also more believable. If you want your students to handle discomfort better, first make sure that you can and show them.
