Classes for 2026 start Monday February 2nd 4.30pm Giru school of arts hall. And Woodstock Tuesday February 3rd 5pm and sports and recreational club. All former and new students are very welcome. Taking new enrolments for Term 1.

Grading Dec 2025
Thankyou to Grand Master Kim for grading us and staying to do some training with us. It is so greatly appreciated and vital for all of our growth in Hwarangdo 😁 congratulations to those who graded and passed 🙌 special mention to Nakita for grading to 2nd Dan. So amazing to see the growth from a little tiny tott to young teens!
Also special mention to the 2nd Dan black belts Andrew and Sophie who were presented with certificates and belts.

Come and support your local sporting club at the Giru Show Saturday 13th September. Demo times 2pm. 4.15 and 5.30pm
Self defence, take downs, patterns and board breaking displays. With gratitude to all of our local supporters, especially our sponsors and kind donations ❤️ to be able to be part of our local event. Your respect is appreciated as this is our motto for what we do. Be mindful everyone is still learning and growing and takes alot of courage to do this in public space. We have no expectations to be Bruce Lee 😄

Congratulations to all of our lucky winners today 👏 3 4 awesome prizes !! We are so blessed to have community of people who are so generous helping us to fundraise for some new equipment that was damaged in the floods. Thankyou Giru International Hotel for the opportunity. Nq hwarangdo raffles this Sunday 1st June 12.30pm to 1.30 and next Sunday 8th at Giru International Hotel. We have huge prizes with meat tray and hams 💕 please support our local community sporting group for Giru and Woodstock so we can continue to train and run our classes in these remote areas. 😀

Class will be cancelled for Giru and Woodstock this week. Giru is very flooded and roads to Woodstock will need repair before travelled on. Best interest of everyone's safety and also will need the time to clean up a big mess 🙏 also have no power so I'm conserving phone battery. Hope you all see this as i wont be sending individual texts ..but you're all in the same boat and are clever so u will work that out 😇
