🎉 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲!

The Gingin Aquatic Centre has received a second nomination in the 2026 WA Aquatic & Recreation Industry (ARI) Awards, this time for the Peter Hobson Community Impact Award.

This award recognises aquatic and recreation programs that strengthen communities, improve wellbeing and create lasting positive change through aquatic and recreation services.

Being nominated is a wonderful acknowledgement of the important role the Gingin Aquatic Centre plays in supporting the health, wellbeing and connectedness of our community through its programs, services, and welcoming environment.

👏 Congratulations to all of this year's nominees. We look forward to celebrating the outstanding work being delivered across Western Australia's aquatic and recreation industry at the 2026 WA ARI Awards.

Due to the power outages overnight the Aquatic Centre will open 30 mins later today - from 12.30pm as the water and chemicals are required to be balanced prior to swimmers entering the water. Thank you for your patience 🏊🏻‍♀️

‼️ 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 - 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲

Please be advised, owing to the predicted weather conditions, the Gingin Aquatic Centre will be closed from 12:00pm today, Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 March, reopening Monday 30 March at 12:00pm (pending weather conditions and maintenance).

‼️ Please be advised, due to this Friday's expected weather conditions, the Interschool Swimming Carnival has been postponed to Tuesday 31 March, this will result in the Gingin Aquatic Centre being unavailable from 9:00am - 2:30pm on Tuesday 31 March.

It's that time of year again, swimming carnival season is almost upon us! We would like to advise the community of the following altered opening hours:

🔹 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Aquatic Centre unavailable until 2:30pm (Bullsbrook College Carnival and Training)
🔹 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟯 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Aquatic Centre unavailable from 9:00am to 2:00pm (Lancelin Primary School Swim Carnival)
🔹 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Aquatic Centre unavailable from 11:15am to 2:30pm (Bullsbrook College)
🔹 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Aquatic Centre unavailable from 9:00am to 2:30pm (Interschool Swim Carnival)

With a jam-packed schedule of carnivals in combination with shorter days and summer drawing to a close, we have altered our opening hours as of Wednesday 4 March:

👉 Early Morning Swims will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 6:00am - 9:30am.
👉 Weekly opening hours will be Monday to Friday 12:00pm - 5:30pm (excluding School Carnivals).
👉 Weekend opening hours will be 9:00am - 5:30pm.

As we near the end of summer, we are starting to wrap up the season at the Gingin Aquatic Centre.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺:
✅ The final early morning swimming session will be Friday 27 March where the pool will be closed from 8:00am due to a swimming carnival.

𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀:
📆 Monday - Friday: 12:00pm to 5:30pm
📆 Saturday - Sunday: 9:00am to 5:30pm

𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀:
❌ Closed Good Friday
❌ Closed Easter Monday morning and open for the afternoon from 12:00pm to 5:30pm
❌ Early Closure on Wednesday 15 April at 4:00pm
❌ Final Aquatic Centre Closure date: 19 April
